WHELPING EQUIPMENT HIRE

WHY BUY WHEN YOU CAN HIRE?

When you are preparing for the whelping process, it is important to have the necessary equipment and supplies on hand to ensure the safety and well-being of the mother and her puppies.

Setting up a whelping box can be expensive, If you can’t afford the investment at this stage, it may be a good idea to hire.

WHELPING ASSISTANCE

WHELPING EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Our whelping equipment to hire includes a comfortable whelping box, heat lamps and an isolated sterile unit. All equipment is up to code for welfare standards and is council approved, we drop off, set up and collect when you are finished.

WHELPING PEN

This provides a safe and comfortable space for the mother and her puppies. Our pens are large enough for the mother to move around comfortably and have raised edges to prevent the puppies from escaping. The box should be lined with soft bedding, such as clean towels or blankets, that can be easily washed or replaced.

HEAT LAMP

Newborn puppies do not regulate their body temperature effectively, so providing a heat source is crucial. We supply heat lamps to maintain a warm and consistent temperature in the whelping area. The lamp must be positioned to allow the mother and puppies to move away from it if they get too warm.
